Good Sports! Phillies and Eagles Bring the Holiday Spirit to Bethesda Project.

Two of Philadelphia's most beloved sports teams – the Phillies and the Eagles – took time out over the holidays to share their time, their love and some great food with the men at Our Brothers' Place and My Brother's House.

On December 16, Phillies President David Montgomery, General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr., the Phillie Phanatic and the front office staff joined Bethesda Project staff and shelter guests for the tenth Christmas in a row at Our Brothers' Place shelter where they not only served, but cooked the meals while the Phanatic kept everyone smiling.

On December 29 the Eagles' front office teamed arrived at Our Brothers' Place to serve a luscious holiday lunch, while linebackers Joe Mays, Akeem Jordan, and lineman Winston Justice joined the men at My Brother's House where they served lunch and talked about game strategies with the men.

From the entire Bethesda Project family, a HUGE thank you to the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles for your ongoing support and warm, generous hearts.
