Transitional Housing

Sanctuary’s goals are to access and build upon the skills of each individual living at the residence. Eventually each person will transition to either a higher degree of independent living or move to a skilled care facility. Operating support is funded partially by HUD and CODAAP.

Transitional supportive housing community for 16 recovering men who also suffer from chronic medical disabilities.

This residence provides four handicapped accessible private rooms and 12 additional private rooms for men who are recovering from drug and alcohol abuse as well as dealing with chronic health problems and/or mental illness.

 

These men have been stabilized to live off the streets through participation in either the Safe Haven at My Brother’s House or referred from another service organization.

 

Housing, meals, community building, life skills training, recovery assistance, and medication and financial management are provided. Each resident participates in the life of the house to the best of his ability.
