OUR URGENT NEED FOR MEN’S UNDERWEAR
The spring and summer months present a particularly difficult challenge for us at Bethesda Project. Although the acute need for protection from the cold has abated, our residents’ basic requirements for food, shelter and clothing remain critical to a healthy, safe and fulfilled life.
Thankfully, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays instill a giving spirit in so many of our valued friends who contribute generously, but those wonderful “reasons to give” simply don’t come around in July.
Believe it or not, men’s underwear is our most urgent need today. You and your company can help by establishing an “Underwear Drive for Bethesda Project”! It’s really as simple as distributing an email within your organization outlining the need, designating the date and drop-off location, for example, your building’s cafeteria, and assigning an individual for whom it would be convenient to gather the donations that day and deliver them to us on South Street.
Brand-new boxers or briefs, in sizes ranging from 34 to 48, T-shirts, sizes M—XXL, and socks. Or, of course, checks payable to Bethesda Project, noted “Underwear Drive.”
Kindly contact our Director of Development Beth Palubinsky to discuss your drive.
Thank you for your consideration of this urgent need!
