21st Annual Party & Auction

This year's Party & Auction proved to be a smashing success as we raised over $170,000 to support programs that directly serve Philadelphia's most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness. Funding Bethesda Project's life-saving work ensures the provision of emergency shelter, housing and supportive services for thousands of men and women experiencing homelessness across Philadelphia every year.
We are so grateful to the Philadelphia Phillies, who have been generously hosting this event for over 13 years now, and to Fox29 News Anchor Lucy Noland who shared such a passionate belief in our cause of being family with those who have none.
We can't wait to see you again next year!
CHAMPION OF CHANGE
Jim White is CEO of J. J. White Inc. with offices in PA, DE, IN, MN and MA. He is the fourth generation to be involved with his family’s Construction Company which serves clients in nineteen states. Since 2004, J.J. White Inc. has been a supporter of the Bethesda Project mission and vision, and is also known throughout Philadelphia for its philanthropic involvement. Over four generations, a succeeding generation of the White family has presided over the company. J. J. White Inc. is now the largest contracting employer in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Jim is a graduate of Notre Dame University. He is married to Megan White and they are the parents of five children. Together, Megan and Jim are actively involved in the support of organizations which foster their values in religion, education, and community outreach.
The Champion of Change Award celebrates members of the Philadelphia community who come together in dynamic ways to support Bethesda Project’s life-changing programming and vision to end homelessness in our city.
After launching a pro-bono partnership with Bethesda Project worth over $140,000 that inspired a multitude of new donors and friends to join our mission, OUTFRONT Media has been selected as this year’s recipient of our Champion of Change Award.

Through its ON Smart Media platform, OUTFRONT Media is implementing digital technology that will fundamentally change the ways advertisers engage people on-the-go.
