We will be discussing the City's Winter Initiative Plan, needs of those experiencing homelessness during the winter, and ways the Greater Philly Community can support these organizations in their life-saving efforts and work.  Light refreshments will be provided.

2nd Annual Casserole Cookoff Contest

Join your Bethesda Project family for a fun afternoon of friends and festivities at Old First Reformed Church during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week!

Our most competitive cookers will be contending for 1st Place in this clash of the casseroles judged by Bethesda Project’s own guests & residents. 

There will be food, drinks, and a suggested donation at the door! If you can’t spare a buck, we’ll also be accepting gloves, socks, toiletries, and non-perishable food donations to support Bethesda Project’s 14 locations across the city. This is a FREE event, but we ask that you RSVP to Luriel at lbalaurea@bethesdaproject.org

HHAW Happy Hour at Local 44

Join us November 14th from 5pm - 7pm for a Happy Hour at Local 44 to support Bethesda Project during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week! 

Bethesda Project will receive 100% of every Liberty Pilsner (Local 44/Manayunk collaboration) draft poured from 5pm - 7pm at Local 44 this HHAWeek! There is also a chance to try your luck at winning some great craft beer-centric raffle prizes furnished by Local44's Bottle Shop.

YPAB HHAW Fundraising Happy Hour

Join our Young Professionals Advisory Board as they raise funds and awareness for Bethesda Project at their annual HHAW Fundraising Happy Hour! Last year, our YPAB raised over $1,300 for Bethesda Project at this event and this ambitious group aims to meet or beat that goal!

Stop by Brickwall Tavern for great drink specials, phenomenal raffle prizes and tons of super fun opportunities to meet new friends and learn how to help!

All proceeds will go directly to Bethesda Project.

Hope for the Homeless: The Art of Bill Kosman

Join us for the opening reception of Painter William Kosman's show, Hope for the Homeless, at Roxborough Development Corp's RoxArt Gallery on November 2nd, 2018.

This show will exhibit some 20-plus paintings of Philadelphia and Normandy, France. Kosman will contribute all his proceeds from the exhibit to Bethesda Project, a Philadelphia homeless services nonprofit that has provided support, shelter and housing for thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness since 1979. 

Refreshments will be provided!

Carving Change for Bethesda Project

Come join us for an evening of competitive crafts and tasty drafts to benefit Bethesda Project!

Carving Change is a fun-filled happy hour jack o' lantern contest where all proceeds benefit the important work done by Bethesda Project, a Philadelphia nonprofit that has been working for individuals experiencing homelessness since 1979 by providing case management, shelter, and permanent housing.

Each Carving Change guest is entitled to one drink ticket and a mess-free, fully gutted pumpkin! We will provide jack o' lantern patterns and carving tools to ensure each attendees' shot at first, second or third prize in the Carving Change Contest. 

Each fall, Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) hosts State of Young Philly (SOYP), a dynamic 10-day event series filled with programming designed to connect young Philadelphians of every background, showcase their positive impact, and amplify their voices. SOYP 2018 brings together nonprofits, government entities, civic leaders, and local businesses to help young Philadelphians identify what civic engagement means to them and the role each individual can play in driving change in their communities.

Join Bethesda Project's Young Professional's Advisory Board to raise money and awareness for Philadelphia's homeless and formerly homeless population while getting in a great workout. Center City Flywheel has generously offered to host an hour long spin class on Saturday, February 3rd at 5 pm.

YPAB NHHAW Kick Off Happy Hour

Come kick-off National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week with Bethesda Project's Young Professionals Advisory Board! The YPAB will be hosting a happy hour fundraiser to jump start awareness of the life-saving work done in Philadelphia by Bethesda Project, a human services nonprofit that has been supporting the homeless population in Philadelphia for the last 38 years. 

Happy Hour starts at 5:30 in the upstairs Loft of the Field House. Come try your hand at corn hole, bar games, and take advantage of some great drink specials and raffle prizes! 

All proceeds will go directly to Bethesda Project.
